Yes. You read the headline right! Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has made upwards of $1 billion dollars at the box office and it still hasn’t hit Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital HD release yet. All of that being said, folks were wondering if Rogue One would be getting a direct sequel, and by direct, most of us know that the immediate sequel is Star Wars; A New Hope (Episode IV).
Well, with the success of Rogue One’s theatrical run, Lucsafilm has released what will be the sequel to Rogue One, but it’s not a movie! It will indeed be a novel, set to be released on July 25th, written by Christie Golden. The novel will focus on the team of Imperials, who have the mission of taking down the remaining members of Saw Gerrera’s group of Rebels.
Star Wars Inferno Squad official synopsis:
