Bleeker Street has released an official trailer for its upcoming true life drama, Breathe. The film feature the directorial debut of Andy Serkis(Star Wars: The Force Awakens, The Lord of the Ring, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, The Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, The Rise of the Planet of the Apes). The inspirational and highly emotional film tells the true story of Robin Cavendish(Andrew Garfield-Hacksaw Ridge)who contracted polio at the age of 28. He is confined to a bed and given only months to live. With help from his family and inventor Teddy Hall, Cavendish devotes the rest of his life to help fellow patients and the disabled. Breathe also stars Golden Globe Award winner Claire Floy(The Crown), Dean-Charles Chapman(Game of Thrones-Tommen Baratheon), Hugh Bonneville(Downton Abbey, Paddington), Diana Rigg(Game of Thrones- Olenna Tyrell), Miranda Raison(Spotless) and Tom Hollander(The Night Manager, Pride & Prejudice).
Breathe is written by William Nicholson(Les Miserables, Gladiator). The film will have a special premiere October 4th at the Odeon Leicester Square during the opening night of the BFI London Film Festival.
