GSC Cinemas has released the official trailer for STX Entertainment upcoming political thriller, The Foreigner. From the director of Casino Royale, Martin Campbell(Green Lantern, Golden Eye, The Mask of Zorro), the film stars international star Jackie Chan and former James Bond, Pierce Brosnan. Chan played a character of an unassuming businessman with a hidden past. A political motivated act of terrorism took away the his only love one, his teenage daughter. His lost sends him into vengeful path to seek out the terrorists who are responsible. Caught in his personal vendetta is the British government who may or may not play a role to his personal plight. The movie is based on a thriller novel by Stephen Leather, The Chinaman. The script is written by David Marconi(Live Free or Die Hard, Enemy of the State). Additional cast includes Charlie Murphy(Philomena), Katie Leung(Harry Porter franchise), Rory Fleck Byrne(Vampire Academy), Simon Kunz(Captain America: The First Avenger), Pipa Bernett-Warner(Dr. Who), Stephen Hogan(Starship Troopers 3), Dermot Crowley(Luther) and Bern Collaco(Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Skyfall).
