Mr. Mercedes Official Trailer – AT&T Audience Network

AT&T Audience Network  has released an official trailer for its upcoming crime drama thriller, Mr. Mercedes. From Sonar Entertainment, Me. Mercedes is an adaptation from Stephen King novel of the same title. The novel is the first of  a trilogy detective tales written by Stephen King published in 2014  followed by Finders Keeper in 2015 and End of  Watch in 2016.  David E. Kelly of Boston Legal and Ally McBeal write the screenplay with Jack Bender( Lost, Under the Dome, Game of Thrones) serve as the director for  pilot episode on the 10 episodes series. Both the creator of the series David E. Kelly  and Jack Bender along with Temple Hill Entertainment’s Marty Bowen(The Fault in Our Stars, The Maze Runner) and Wyck Godfrey( The Twilight Sagas, The Fault of Our Stars) served as the executive producers. Mr. Mercedes stars Brendan Gleeson(Assassin’s Creed, Edge of Tomorrow, Harry Potter) as Detective Bill Hodges, Harry Threadaway(Penny Dreadful) as Brady Hartsfield and Kelly Lynch(Road House, Charlie’s Angels) as Deborah Hartsfield. Other cast includes Mary-Louise Parker(Weed), Justine Lupe(Frances Ha), Jharrel Jerome(Moonlight), Scott Lawrence(Equals), Robert Stanton(Dennis the Menace) and Holland Taylor(Two and a Half Men).

From Executive Producers Stephen King, David E. Kelley and Jack Bender comes the story of a demented serial killer who taunts a retired police detective with a series of lurid letters and emails. This forces the ex-cop to undertake a private, and potentially felonious, crusade to bring the killer to justice before he can strike again. 

Mr Mercedes is set to premiere and available August 9th on Audience Network, DIRECTV Now, DIRECTV CH.239 and U-verse CH.1114. Check out the trailer below.
