The CW DC’s Super Heroes Cross Over : Crisis On Earth X

The new season for the CW DC super heroes series have yet to premiere, the network has already reveal the plot for the highly anticipated annual cross over of Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow. The title of the cross over is Crisis on Earth X. It will introduce yet another DC super hero The Ray a.k.a. Raymond “Ray” Terrill. The character was a reporter who discover a group of government scientists working on a project to turn light into weapon of mass destruction. Before he could report his finding, the head of the scientist expose Ray to a genetic light bomb. Rather being kill by it, it gives him the light based power. With his new gain super power he realized he can stop and fight the bad guys beyond his reporting ability. He call himself The Ray ans was recruited by Uncle Sam and Freedom Fighters.

Before we get to the CW DC super heroes cross over event, CW Seeds, a new streaming service will premiere an animated series, Freedom Fighter: The Ray later this Fall. The voice of The Ray is Russell Tovey(Being Human, Looking, Quantico). The actor will resume his role in the live action cross over event. Check out the teaser trailer of the animated series as well as the comic illustration Stephen Amell tweeted out a few days ago below to get a sense of what we can expect from the cross over. Incidentally the poster was created by legendary Wonder Woman artist Phil Jimenez.

In the cross over event, the super heroes of Earth 1 will be facing off with their nazified doppleganger from Earth X when they come crashing onto Barry Allen and Iris West wedding with a deadly agenda. The Ray who are familiar with fighting the Nazis will lend a helping hand to help defeat the invaders from Earth X. The cross over event will begin November 27th and conclude on November 28th.

Here are the synopsis of the premiere episode on each individual series beginning this fall:

Supergirl Season 3  8 pm Monday October 9th

DREAM A LITTLE DREAM OF YOU — Kara (Melissa Benoist) deals with the loss of Mon-El (Chris Wood) by focusing all her energy on being Supergirl and the mysterious new threat against National City. Alex (Chyler Leigh) confesses a secret to Maggie (guest star Floriana Lima) about their impending nuptials. A citizen of National City has a mysterious connection to Kara, and Lena (Katie McGrath) makes a bold move.

The Flash Season 4 – 8 pm Tuesday October 10th

COMING HOME — With Barry (Grant Gustin) in the speed force, Iris (Candice Patton), Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale), Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Vibe (Carlos Valdes) have taken over protecting Central City. However, when a powerful armored villain threatens to level the city if The Flash doesn’t appear, Cisco makes a risky decision to break Barry out of the speed force. However, the Barry that comes out isn’t the same Barry that went in.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Season 3 – 9 pm Tuesday October 10th

THERE’S NO PLACE LIKE HOME — When the Legends realize that they broke the timeline, Rip Hunter (guest star Arthur Darvill) arrives with his new organization – the Time Bureau – to relieve them of duty. The Legends are thrilled to get a chance to put the team back together but a new threat arises when Rory (Dominic Purcell) spots Julius Caesar (guest star Simon Merrells) in Aruba. Sara (Caity Lotz), Nate (Nick Zano) and Ray (Brandon Routh) devise a plan to steal the Waverider back from the Time Bureau in order to try and stop Julius Caesar from conquering the modern world.

Arrow Season 6 – 9 pm Thursday October 12th

In Season Six, Oliver has finally solidified and strengthened his crime-fighting team only to have it threatened when unexpected enemies from his past , including Black Siren, return to Star City, forcing Oliver to rethink his relationship with each member of his “family.” With the team left hanging in the balance, the focus shifts to the fates of every member of Team Arrow!
