Bleecker Street and Participant Media have released a new clip from Andy Serkis and his directorial debut, Breathe.
Serkis is bringing to life an inspiring and true love story between Robin and Diana Cavendish. The two are a couple of adventurous lovebirds, who refuse to give up despite Robin having such a devastating disease. Robin contracts polio at age 28. He is then confined to a hospital bed and given only months to live. Diana, her twin brothers and inventor Teddy Hall invent ways for Robin to continue to live life outside of the hospital room. The couple live their life, raise their young son, travel and devote their lives to helping those with polio.
Breathe was written by two-time Academy Award nominated writer William Nicholson. The movie was filmed by three-time Academy Award winner Robert Richardson.
