The CW has released photos and trailer for its up coming DC cross over series, Crisis on Earth X. The cross over bring all of the super heroes from Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow together once again to battle the big bad of the season. Crisis on Earth X has the most comprehensive cast this year amassing many characters from all 4 DC series. In addition, It will introduce yet another DC super hero The Ray a.k.a. Raymond “Ray” Terrill. The character was a reporter who discover a group of government scientists working on a project to turn light into weapon of mass destruction. Before he could report his finding, the head of the scientist expose Ray to a genetic light bomb. Rather being kill by it, it gives him the light based power. With his new gain super power he realized he can stop and fight the bad guys beyond his reporting ability. He call himself The Ray ans was recruited by Uncle Sam and Freedom Fighters.
Before we get to the CW DC super heroes cross over event, CW Seeds, a new streaming service will premiere an animated series, Freedom Fighter: The Ray in December. The voice of The Ray is Russell Tovey(Being Human, Looking, Quantico). The actor will also assume the role of Ray in the live action cross over event. In the cross over event, the super heroes of Earth 1 will be facing off with their nazified doppleganger from Earth X when they come crashing onto Barry Allen and Iris West wedding with a deadly agenda. The Ray who are familiar with fighting the Nazis will lend a helping hand to help defeat the invaders from Earth X. The cross over event will begin November 27th and conclude on November 28th.
Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist as Kara Zor-El/Supergirl, Merchad Brook as Jimmy Olsen/The Guardian, Jeremy Jordan as Winn Schott, David Harewood as J’onn J’onzz/The Martian Hunter/Hank Henshaw, Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers and Katie McGrath as Lena Luthor.
The Flash stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramo, Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells, Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West, Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West, and John Wesley Shipp. New additions to the cast are Katee Sackhoff as the villain Amunet Black and Hartley Sawyer as Ralph Dibny, aka Elongated Man.
Legends of Tomorrow stars Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/Atom, Victor Garber as Professor Martin Stein that make up half of Firestorm. Franz Drameh as Jefferson ‘Jax’ Jackson and the other half of Firestorm. Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary, Dominic Purcell as Mike Rory/Heatwave, Amy Pemberton as the voice of Gideon and recurring characters Vixen/Amaya Jiwe played by Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Captain Steel/Nate Haywood played by Nick Zano and Tara Ashe as Zari Tomaz.
Arrow stars Stephen Amell as Arrow/Oliver Queen, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Willa Holland as Speedy/Thea Queen, Paul Blackthorne as Quentin Lance, Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak , Echo Kellum as Curtis Holt, Rick Gonzalez as Rene Ramirez, Juliana Harkavay as Dinah Drake/ Black Canary, Katie Cassidy as Black Siren and Maru Bennett as Slade Wilson/Deathstroke.
Crisis on Earth X four-hour episodes over two nights starts on Monday 8 pm EST November 27th follow by a special night for Arrow at 9 pm. The 3rd and 4th episode of the cross over series will air Tuesday 8 pm November 28th on The Flash and conclude 9 pm on Legends of Tomorrow. Check your local listing.
