The Gifted 1.09 Preview: “outfoX” – Fox Network

Fox network has released a preview for the next episode of The Gifted titled “outfoX”. Spoiler Warning ahead if you have not watched last night episode of “threat of eXtinction”. Previously, the family and the mutants learned that Reed Strucker(Stephen Moyer) estranged father was working for Sentinel Services. The same institution Dr. Roderick Campbell(Garrette Dillahunt) is turning some of the mutants into their bounty hunters by injecting them with experimental substance. The big revelation on last night episode was the family history of the Strucker family. All four generations minus Kate Strucker(Amy Acker) are descendants of two very powerful and destructive mutants siblings of Andreas and Andrea Strucker. When the siblings hold hands together they can emit a massive explosion. In the short reunion between father and son, Reed learned from his father Otto(Guest star Raymond J. Barry) reason working in Sentinel Services was to cure him of his mutant genes. The experiment itself while successful almost killed young Reed. A guilt that Otto carry with him and cause him to separate himself from his family. However, both Lauren Strucker(Natalie Alyn Lind) and Andy Strucker(Percy Hynes White) inherited the same power as their great-grandfather and their great grand-aunt should they join their hands together. So far both have demonstrated their power individually and in coordination. By the end of the episode Otto Strucker sacrifice his life holding off Campbell and his team as well as killing off Pulse(Zach Roerig) to help Reed and John(Blair Redford) escape.
