Fox has released a preview for next week episode of Gotham. Episode titled “Let Them Eat Pie”. Spoiler Warning ahead if you have not watch “Stop Hitting Yourself” episode. Master Bruce must be nursing a hangover in Wayne Manor from last week. Previously, the Dark Knight in training has temporary hang up his vigilante practice and prefer to spent his time partying. Even Professor Pyg took a week off. Serial killing of cops can be exhausting. That leaves Harvey Bullock another week to hold a grudge against his buddy James Gordon drowning in booze and guilt. By the end of the episode, James can’t bear to watch GCPD goes down with the spiraling Bullock and accepted the captainship offer of GCPD. It was Sophia Falcon whose on going scheme to take down Penguin that put the commissioner up to offer Gordon the position. Well aware of her scheme, Gordon accepted the position but break off with Sophia to distance himself from the Falcon and Penguin brewing conflict. The larger story on last night episode has to do with the B characters of Gotham. Barbara, Tabitha, Selina, Solomon Gundy/Butch, Ed Nygma and Leslie Thompkins. A reunion at the Narrows courtesy of Penguin. Borrowing from a page of Game of Thrones, Ed Nygma performs pantomimic of Penguin as intro in the center of the ring at the underground fight club. Words get to the thin skin crime lord of Gotham who wasting no time dispatching Barbara, Selina and Tabitha to snag Ed Nygma. For added measure Penguin had Firefly follow behind to burn down the fight club if the trio fail their mission. Nothing can be good when you put a bunch of old enemies and lovers together. Amidst the shock of Tabitha seeing her transformed Butch and the confrontation between Barbara and Leslie, Selina was left with the task to apprehend Ed Nygma. A standstill between the trio against Leslie, Ed and Grundy had Tabitha and Gundy settling Ed Nygma’s fate in the ring. All those bashing in the head during fights does Gundy no good. He’s been getting flashes of Butch memories. As Gundy took one final blow in the head and collapse to the mat, Firefly show up in opportune time to collect Ed Nygma. Sensing the betrayal, Barbara and her cohorts severe their ties with Penguin. As chaos ensues, Leslie Thompkins emerge as the hero of the night when she took down Firefly and Cherry, the leader of the fight club/Penguin’s informer. Leslie was ushered in to be the new leader of Narrows. How will the motley crew of frenemies in the Narrows that consist of Leslie, Ed Nygma, Grundy, Barbara, Tabitha and Selina fare against Penguin?
