Trollhunters Part 2 Official Trailer – Netflix

Dreamworks and Netflix have released an official trailer for its fantasy adventure animation series Trollhunters Part 2. The original 26 episode series debuted December 23rd 2016  and had won 6 Day Time Emmy in the Creative Arts category. Trollhunters was created by multi-award nominee writer and screenwriter, director Guillermo del Toro (Pan’s Labyrinth, Hellboy Franchise, The Hobbits, Pacific Rim, The Strain-TV series). He served as the executive producer along with Marc Guggenheim of The CW super heroes series,  Rodrigo Blaas (Alma) and Chad Hammes (Dragons: Race to the Edge) and Christina Steinberg (Rise of the Guardians). Dan Hageman (The Lego Movie, Ninjago) and Kevin Hageman (The Lego Movie, Ninjago) also co executive produced the series.

The voice cast includes the late Anton Yelchin(Star Trek movie franchise), Ron Pearlman(Hell Boy, Beauty and The Beast), Kelsey Grammer(Cheers, Frasier), Steven Yuen(The Walking Dead), Charlie Saxton(Hung), Johnathan Hyde(The Strain), Amy Landecker(Doctor Strange, Transparent) and Fred Tatasciore(Kung Fu Panda). Part 2 will have Mark Hamill(Star Wars franchise), Lena Heady(Game of Thrones) and David Bradley(The Strain, Harry Potter franchise) joined the cast. The late Anton Yelchin completed Part 2 of the recording as the series lead, Jim Lake Jr.

Trollhunters tells a tale of a young boy, Jim Sturges Jr. whose life is controlled by his father endless fear for his safety. Until Jim found out the reason for his father fear was the existence of trolls that his uncle was once kidnapped by them at a young age. Uncle Jack came back from the troll world requiring Jim assistance to defeat the black and evil troll by the name of  Gunmar who set to conquer the world.

Part 2 will find Jim Jake Jr. will face new challenges in his continuing battles to protect his hometown of Acadia and the Troll world he inherited. His risky decisions to enter the Darkworld will force he and his friends to confront the evil he uncovered.
