Destiny 2: Ghost Skill for Amazon Alexa AVAILABLE!

Bungie and Activision recently announced the availability of the Destiny 2 Ghost Skill for Amazon Alexa!

For those who do not play Destiny 2, ‘Ghost’ is the in-game AI guide and companion for players. Ghost is voiced by Nolan North and the Ghost skill is available to enable (through the Alexa app) for FREE. Players can talk to Ghost through Alexa enabled devices.

Here is the synopsis for the Ghost Skill:

Introducing one of Alexa’s most innovative and integrated skills to date for a live video game. This new skill seamlessly connects Bungie’s Destiny 2 with enabled Amazon Alexa devices via real-time voice commands. The Ghost Skill brings your in-game Ghost companion to life, giving you an exciting new way to play and interact with the Destiny 2 game on consoles and PC. With the Ghost Skill you’ll have a faster path to action and superior weapons management.

This is very cool as it actually makes it feel like you are really interacting with Ghost. Ghost, through Alexa, can do a number of different things for the player. Here are some examples:

  • Explore the Destiny 2 Universe: Ask and receive unique dialogue lines that will expand your knowledge of the Destiny 2 worlds and characters you’ll encounter on your journey.

  • Find out what to do next: Based on your progress inside the game, you’ll receive unique recommendations for things to do inside the massive world of Destiny 2 in real-time.

  • Manage your Arsenal: Equip your most powerful weapons or entire loadouts with a simple voice command

  • Connect with friends: Send messages to friends, find out who’s online and ready to play, and stay on top of Clan progress without having to turn on your consoles and PC.

Bungie also released a few new videos showcasing the Ghost Skill in action. Check them out below:

If you are a Destiny 2 player and have an Amazon Alexa enabled device, this Ghost skill is definitely worth trying out. It adds a lot of immersion to the already rich and detailed world of Destiny 2!
