Universal Pictures has released a behind the scene featurette for its upcoming dinosaur sequel, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. A full trailer of the film will launch tomorrow, Thursday December 7th. All week the studios have been releasing teasers and snippets of what would be another summer blockbuster for 2018. Yesterday, Universal Pictures employed YouTube personality/magician Zach King to participate in a trailer tease of sort for the movie. The full trailer of the film will also accompany the premiere of Star Wars: The Last Jedi when it hits theater on December 15th.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is a sequel to Jurassic World, a rebooted Jurassic Park movie franchise. Released in the summer of 2015, Jurassic World took in $1.672 billion in the box office. Colin Trevorrow, the director of Jurassic World co wrote the script with Derek Connolly(Jurassic World, Kong:Skull Island, Monster Trucks) on the sequel. He will serve as the executive producer for Universal Pictures along with Steven Spielberg for Amblin Entertainment. Produced by Frank Marshall(Jurassic World, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jason Bourne)Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is directed by multi-award winning Spanish director, J.A. Bayona(A Monster Calls, The Orphanage).
Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and B.D Wong return. New cast includes Jeff Goldblum reprising his Dr. Ian Malcolm role from Jurassic Park, James Cromwell, Toby Jones, Justice Smith, Rafe Spall, Daniella Pineda, Ted Levine, Geraldine Chaplin and Michael Papajohn.
