HBO has released a teaser trailer for its upcoming dystopias drama, Fahrenheit 451. The film is adapted from the 1953 novel of the same title by American writer Ray Bradbury. It tells a story of a future America where books are outlawed and “firemen” were employed to burn them all. Fahrenheit was first adapted into a film in 1966 by French auteur Francois Truffaut that stars Julie Christie(Darling, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban) , Cyril Cusack(1984, Far and Away) and Oskar Werner(The Spy Who Came in from the Cold). The newly adapted television film is written and directed by Ramin Bahrani(99 Homes) and stars Michael B. Jordan (Creed, Black Panther), Michael Shannon( Nocturnal Animals, Waco), Sofia Boutella( Atomic Blonde, The Mummy), Laura Harrier(Spider-Man: Homecoming), Martin Donovan(Ant-Man, Weed) and Jane Moffat( Backstage).

Here is a brief official synopsis for Fahrenheit 451:

HBO Films presents Fahrenheit 451. In a terrifying care-free future, a young man, Guy Montag, whose job as a fireman is to burn all books, questions his actions after meeting a young girl…and begins to rebel against society.
