New Line Cinema has debuted an official trailer on The Ellen Show for its upcoming comedy film, Life of the Party. The film stars Melissa McCarthy(Ghostbusters) who co-wrote with her husband Ben Falcone. Falcone also served as the director. The couple produce the film via their production company, On The Day along with Chris Henchy(Entourage). Life of the Party is executive produced by Toby Emmerich(Frequency, Rush Hour tv series), Richard Brener(Fist Fight, IT), Michael Disco(Central Intelligence, The House), and David Siegel(War Dogs, Gravity). Warner Bros Pictures is the world-wide distributor. Additional cast of the film includes Gillian Jacobs (Girls), Maya Rudolph (The Good Place), Julie Bowen (Modern Family), Matt Walsh (Ghostbusters), Molly Gordon (Animal Kingdom), with Stephen Root (Boardwalk Empire), Jacki Weaver (The Disaster Artist), Jessie Ennis (Better Call Saul), Adria Arjona (Emerald City), Debby Ryan (Jessie), Jimmy O. Yang (Patriots Day) and Luke Benward( Still the King).

When her husband suddenly dumps her, longtime dedicated housewife Deanna turns regret into re-set by going back to college – landing in the same class and school as her daughter, who’s not entirely sold on the idea. Plunging headlong into the campus experience, the increasingly outspoken Deanna — now Dee Rock — embraces freedom, fun, and frat boys on her own terms, finding her true self in a senior year no one ever expected.
