Netflix has released a new trailer for its upcoming crime drama series, Seven Seconds. The anthology series tackled the highly charged racial tension between the authority and the marginalized community beyond the sensationalism of the headlines. Seven Seconds is created and executive produced by Veena Sud(The Killing) along with executive producers, Gavin O’Connor(The Accountant) and Lawrence Bender(Kill Bill 1&2, Inglourious Basterds, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs). The series stars  Emmy award-winning  actor, Regina King(American Crime), David Lyons(Revolution, Game of Silence), Beau Knapp(The Nice Guys, The Finest Hours), Claire-Hope Ashitey(Shots Fired), Raul Castillo(Looking, Gotham)Russell Hornsby(Fences, Grimm), Michael Mosley(Hot Pursuit, Sirens), Michelle Veintimilla(Gotham, Drunk Parents) and Nadia Alexander(Ten Thousand Saints).

Here is the official synopsis for Seven Seconds:

In an instant, life is forever changed for Brenton Butler and his family. After a white cop accidentally hits and critically injures a black teenager, a northeastern city explodes with racial tensions, an attempted cover up and its aftermath, and the trial of the century.

From creator and executive producer, Veena Sud (The Killing) comes Seven Seconds – a thrilling new anthological crime drama that explores the human stories behind the headlines.
