Sony has released a couple of videos showcasing the upcoming PS4 exclusive GOD OF WAR!
God of War on PS4 is a new direction for the franchise. It features a different style of gameplay compared to the older games. God of War games have always had a fantastic art style and this game is no different! The trailers and screenshots look amazing so far. It is definitely a game worth keeping an eye on.
Here is the official synopsis:
From Santa Monica Studio and creative director Cory Barlog comes a new beginning for one of gaming’s most recognizable icons. Living as a man outside the shadow of the gods, Kratos must adapt to unfamiliar lands, unexpected threats, and a second chance at being a father. Together with his son Atreus, the pair will venture into the brutal Norse wilds and fight to fulfill a deeply personal quest.

The game features new combat mechanics. Specifically, the camera view is now over the shoulder which, according to Sony, will let the player feel closer to the action! This style could be similar to that found in games like Bloodborne. Sony released a video explaining the changes made to the combat system and how it improves the overall experience. God of War will be available on April 20, 2018 for PS4!
