These weekly posts will summarise and showcase every cosplay we have chosen for the week. Also, we will explain what it was we liked about the cosplay and who the cosplayer was. Harley Quinn

The photo captures Harley Quinn’s personality perfectly. She has done an amazing job with the costume and facial expressions as well. The use of black and white combined with some colour really gave the picture a true batman feel and also reminds me of the art style found in Sin City! Harley Quinn is a great character in the DC Universe. As many people know, she is normally seen as The Jokers accomplice. She is equally, if not more psychotic than the joker.

Mileena:

I especially liked the attention to detail here with the use of the ‘dual-sai’ weapons. Mileena is a villain in the Mortal Kombat universe. She is known for her psychotic and evil tendencies. She is basically an evil version of Kitana!

Keira Metz
Many people may not be familiar with Keira Metz as she is from The Witcher books / video game universe. The Witcher universe is by far one of my favourites so I thought this cosplay by lesika_holod was amazing and very accurate!

In The Witcher, Keira was a sorceress and former advisor to the King. She meets Geralt of Rivia many times during The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Darth Maul
This Darth Maul cosplay is one of the best we have seen so far. It is by the well known maul_cosplay:

Ben (maul_cosplay) starred in a fantastic Darth Maul fan movie known as Darth Maul: Apprentice (I will post about this movie at a later date on this site). I highly recommend watching this fan movie on YouTube. Darth Maul is a character that has gained a strong following. Many fans believe Darth Maul should have had more screen time in the prequel Star Wars movies! Ben’s cosplay is amazing and could easily be mistaken for the Darth Maul in the movies.
Chloe Price (from Life is Strange)

Chloe Price is an important character in the fantastic Life is Strange video games. These games are amazing, story driven experiences and are well worth playing. I loved the attention to detail in this cosplay. Katrina got everything exactly as it is on the video game Chloe Price!

Batman Beyond:

The Batman Beyond stories are some of my favourite within the Batman universe. In particular, I used to love watching the Batman Beyond Animated series. This series was set in the future where Batman (Bruce Wayne) was much older and in retirement. He takes on a new apprentice to fill his shoes. This apprentice (Terry McGinnis) must become the new Batman, complete with an advanced, futuristic suit. The animated series had a dark tone and captured Gotham perfectly. If you are a batman fan you owe it to yourself to watch this animated series. It even featured the original voices from the older Batman animated series (the Joker makes a return as well!).

Zatanna

Zatanna is another great character from the DC universe. She has real magical abilities and has appeared in multiple Justice League stories over the years. Zatanna is a very interesting character to read about in the comics and in the animated movies. At one point Zatanna even had a romance with none other than John Constantine!

Leeloo Dallas (from the Fifth Element)

The Fifth Element is a brilliant sci-fi movie starring Bruce Willis, Milla Jovovich and Gary Oldman. Here is the movie synopsis:
In the colorful future, a cab driver unwittingly becomes the central figure in the search for a legendary cosmic weapon to keep Evil and Mr. Zorg at bay.
This is easily one of my top 10 favourite movies. It’s full of sci-fi action and has an awesome story too. Milla Jovovich is ‘Leeloo’ in this movie and onlyalicat did a brilliant cosplay. The outfit, hair etc is all exactly like the movie.

The Flash

This is a great cosplay. The suit looks amazing! Also, I really liked how the photographer edited the photo. It really does look like The Flash!!

Khal Drogo (Game of Thrones)

The similarities with the TV Khal Drogo (husband of Daenerys the Dragon Queen in Game of Thrones) are amazing! As always with Maul_Cosplay, there is a very strong attention to detail. Everything from the facial expression to the clothing looks authentic.
Fortnite Battle Royale
With the huge success of Fortnite Battle Royale, I was looking forward to seeing cosplays for it. This is a great cosplay by the_sarcastic_ginger:

The detail is great in this cosplay. I especially liked the inclusion of the famous Fortnite bush as well as the pickaxe!!
