Sony and Sucker Punch Studio (creators of the great Infamous games) recently revealed their next project, Ghost of Tsushima!

Ghost of Tsushima is an open world samurai adventure set during the Mongol invasion of Japan in 1274. I am really looking forward to this game as it looks beautiful and the gameplay looks amazing. Here is the official synopsis and a brand new gameplay trailer:

In 1274, the fearsome Mongol Empire invades the Japanese island of Tsushima and slaughters its legendary samurai defenders. Jin Sakai is one of the last survivors of a noble samurai clan. To combat his overwhelming foes, he must pioneer deadly new fighting techniques–the way of The Ghost–and wage an unconventional war for the people of Japan.

The game will feature a large open world and multiple main and side quests. The trailer introduces two characters. One is the main character, Jin and the other is Masako, another samurai. In the video they can be seen joining forces to fight the enemy. The combat looks brutal and very authentic. This is likely to be a must buy game for the PS4 when it is released.
