Developers IO Interactive have released new information for the upcoming Hitman sequel!
I love the Hitman franchise. Each game provides some amazing environments and missions have great re-playability. Players control Agent 47 (an assassin / hitman) who travels to various locations around the world in order to carry out contracts. Players are able to plan out the assassinations using a huge variety of disguises / weapons / techniques. It really is A LOT of fun and I remember replaying each mission many times in the previous games.
Here is the synopsis and trailer for HITMAN 2:
HITMAN 2 will take you on a global adventure across a mix of bustling international locations, including a vibrant Miami setting with the colorful ambiance of an in-progress motorsport race bringing a new backdrop to the series. From sun-drenched streets to dark and dangerous rainforests, each intricate location provides multiple paths to discover and unparalleled game depth. Continuing the ultimate spy thriller story, HITMAN 2 allows players to take on the role of the masterful Agent 47 and embark on a mission to hunt the elusive Shadow Client and unravel his militia once and for all. However, when 47 learns the hidden truth about his past, nothing will ever be the same.
Sniper Assassin:
Hitman 2 will also feature a separate co-op mode called ‘Sniper Assassin’ which looks awesome. Players who pre-order the game get instant access to this mode! Here is the synopsis and trailer:
Snipe with your friends or work alone in HITMAN: Sniper Assassin as this new experience will reinforce your natural skill to think deadly.
Other Information:
- Brand New Locations: The game will bring 6 new locations for players to explore and carry out contracts in. As always, these huge environments let players plan their assassinations out with incredible detail.
- The World Is Your Weapon: As usual in Hitman games, players can use the environment tp help them complete the mission. For example, various objects can be sabotaged to create accidents so no one would ever suspect Agent 47!
- Story: Hitman 2 has a new story and will also bring back Elusive Targets as well as other live content which keeps the game fresh.
