RAGE 2: Awesome Gameplay & New Details Revealed at E3 2018 by Bethesda!

Bethesda have revealed more information for RAGE 2 at their E3 2018 Conference!

Here is the official synopsis and NEW E3 gameplay feature shown at the Bethesda E3 2018 Conference / Showcase:

“Dive headfirst into a dystopian world devoid of society, law, and order. RAGE 2 brings together two studio powerhouses – Avalanche Studios, masters of open world insanity, and id Software, creators of the first-person shooter – to deliver a carnival of carnage where you can go anywhere, shoot anything, and explode everything. An asteroid has annihilated 80% of the earth’s population, and humanity’s numbers are dwindling. Ruthless and bloodthirsty gangs roam the open roads and the tyrannical Authority seek to rule with an iron fist. As Walker, the last Ranger of the wasteland and a threat to their power, you have been robbed of your home and left for dead. Now you’ll have to rage for justice and freedom. With ludicrous vehicle combat, super-powered first-person mayhem, and an open world full of emergent madness, you will tear across an unforgiving wasteland battling sadistic gangs to find the tools and tech needed to crush the oppressive rule of The Authority once and for all.”

Avalanche studios are great at building fun open worlds. Here is what they had to say about RAGE 2:

“Speaking for everyone at Avalanche Studios, this is a dream-come-true for us,” said Nedfors on stage during the BE3 Showcase. “The world of RAGE 2 is perfect for our style of gameplay. But even more exciting is the chance to work with id Software. These guys invented the first-person shooter – and they still make the best shooters out there. It’s been a great collaboration to bring you the most insane open-world shooter you’ve ever played.”

Features:

The Wasteland: The huge post apocalyptic world contains a whole variety of environments ranging from jungles and swamps to sun-scorched deserts.
Vehicles: There will be a huge range of awesome vehicles such as Monster Trucks and even Gyrocopters to help players explore the wasteland. Bethesda mentioned that ‘if you can see it, you can drive it!’
Weapons and Abilities: The main character will be able to use a whole variety of upgradable weapons, Nanotrite powers, and Overdrive, which is said to be ‘the ability to push your guns beyond their mechanical limits.’
Factions: “Fight against ferocious factions for control of the wasteland, each featuring a rogue’s gallery of madmen, mutants, and monsters hungry for blood.”

Collectors Edition:

Bethesda also revealed an awesome Collectors Edition for the game. The highlight is a talking mutant head. This edition is said to cost $119.99 USD!
