Developer Lunar Rooster proves that FPS can be fun without dealing damage and has delivered and amazing innovative way of multiplayer shooter.
Fun, fast paced shooter with challenging multiplayer experience with simple gameplay mechanics, but with a hidden skill learning curve. The game is awesome and art style is great. It’s a fresh new take on FPS by adding a fluid and enjoyable grappling hook experience.
You play as a Gunslinger in a Wild West environment, with a grappling hook in one hand and a variety western-themed gun, that blasts fire instead of bullets, on the other. Wait, no bullets? Yeah! All maps are based on a floating island and your objective is to get your enemies blown off the edge! Oh, there’s also a lasso that can be used to pickup equipment or grab enemies in the air.
Taking place in a reinvented Wild West universe where the frontier floats among the clouds, Sky Noon players take the role of hired gunslingers that battle opposing cartel fighters in the sky. There are no health meters in Sky Noon; instead players use various super-powered compressed air weapons to send enemies flying out of their boot spurs! Grappling hooks and lassos are literal lifelines preventing players from falling off into the great blue sky. Combined with other items like steam-powered jetpacks, jump pads, and teleporters, cowboys need to be quick on the draw and light on their boots in the fast-paced, aerial mayhem of Sky Noon.
I’m highly impressed with the graphics, game mechanics, and overall gameplay! Just need more players!
Sorry for the absence of a gameplay video, but unfortunately my gaming pc is only running Linux at this moment and the laptop I tested the game is not gaming friendly and I experienced frame lags that jeopardize the gameplay 🙁
