IDW in partnership with Oni Press, is bringing the Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty ™ and Dungeons & Dragons series together in a new four-issue comic book series.

Debuting in August in the USA, the miniseries will launch Rick and Morty on a high fantasy adventure combined with the wit, humor and intelligence for which the program is widely celebrated.

In this summer’s greatest comic crossover, Morty goes to Rick to help him learn about Dungeons & Dragons, the game that all the cool kids at his school are playing; Of course, things are going terribly wrong when Rick, Morty, and the entire Smith family find themselves on an epic journey with no way out.

In addition to the comic-books, each edition will also include character tiles for those who wish to play the various characters in the series in their respective RPG campaigns.

The creators of Rick and Morty Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland are not involved in this mini-series. The script of the four issues was written by famed fantasy writer Patrick Rothfuss and former Marvel Comics Jim Zub. Troy Little signs the arts.
