Developers IO Interactive and WB Games have released a new trailer for the upcoming Hitman sequel!
Hitman 2 is coming in November. The developers are slowly teasing the various locations in the game. Hitman games are known for their awesome, huge locations where players can carry out assassinations in so many different ways using a huge variety of weapons / items. Hitman 2 will continue this tradition with some epic new locations and game mechanics. If you missed it, check out an older post for more information about the game.
The new location announced was Colombia. Here is the synopsis and trailer:
Three high-profile targets inhabit a luxurious and dangerous environment deep inside the Colombian jungle. Welcome to Santa Fortuna.
As you can see, the level has a lot of detail and provides some innovative ways to assassinate the targets. This adds a lot of replay value to these games. I used to go back and replay each level in the other Hitman games multiple times so I could try new methods and beat my own records.
IO Interactive also released a trailer showing some of the stealth game mechanics. Check it out:

I am looking forward to seeing what other locations this game will bring. Players who pre-order the game receive instant access to a new ‘Sniper Assassin’ mode which will be part of the game. This separate mode will even feature co-op so that should make for some great moments if you play with a friend.
Other Information:
- Brand New Locations: The game will bring 6 new locations for players to explore and carry out contracts in. As always, these huge environments let players plan their assassinations out with incredible detail.
- The World Is Your Weapon: As usual in Hitman games, players can use the environment tp help them complete the mission. For example, various objects can be sabotaged to create accidents so no one would ever suspect Agent 47!
- Story: Hitman 2 has a new story and will also bring back Elusive Targets as well as other live content which keeps the game fresh.
HITMAN 2 will be released on November 13, 2018, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC!
