Electronic Arts and DICE recently revealed a trailer for the upcoming Battle Royale mode (Firestorm), which will be coming to Battlefield V!

Even though the main Battlefield V game has been out for some time, EA has been working on a new battle royale mode for the game. This mode will be called firestorm. Battlefield runs on the amazing Frostbite game engine which makes the game not only look great, but provides some beautiful environmental effects. Here is the official synopsis and new trailer:

A deadly ring of fire enclosing the largest Battlefield map ever. Epic weapons and combat vehicles. Squads or solo in 64-player matches. Available to all Battlefield™ V players. There are no second chances in Firestorm.

Features:

  • Objectives and Reinforcements: ‘Overcome your foes to claim Objectives and get your hands on powerful loot, from the Panzer IV to the flare gun that calls in a V-1 rocket.’
  • Vehicles: As expected with a Battlefield mode, there will be many different types of vehicles in Firestorm. These include tanks, helicopters and even a tractor!
  • Weapons and Armour: A wide range of weapons and armour will be available during each match. Battlefield normally has a great amount of weapon variety so this should make for a fun experience.
  • More features to come: a duos mode will also be coming to the game soon as well as other additions.
