Borderlands 3 Gameplay Revealed!

Gearbox recently revealed Borderlands 3 gameplay at a live event!

Borderlands games are known for their awesome art style and over the top action. Borderlands 3 will be no different. Recently, Gearbox and 2K Games showcased live gameplay from Borderlands 3. The lengthy and detailed gameplay reveal showed a whole variety of weapons, enemy types and even multiple worlds accessible in-game. This looks like an amazing game and I cant wait to play it. As expected with Borderlands, this game will have some very unique characters to encounter in this huge world. These games are a lot of fun to play solo and with friends. I loved playing the previous Borderlands games and will definitely be picking this game up on release day. If you have not played previous Borderlands games, it is worth noting that they are available as a remastered edition on current gen consoles / PC as well.

Here is the official synopsis for the upcoming Borderlands 3:

The original shooter-looter returns, packing bazillions of guns and an all-new mayhem-fueled adventure. Blast your way through new worlds and enemies as one of four brand new Vault Hunters, each with deep skill trees, abilities, and customization. Play solo or join with friends to take on insane enemies, collect loads of loot and save your home from the most ruthless cult leaders in the galaxy.

Game Features:

New Mayhem filled Story: Borderlands 3 will have a fresh new story and some brand new characters. As a Vault Hunter, it is up to the main characters to stop the Calypso Twins!
Unique Play Styles: There are four vault hunters for you to choose from, each with their own unique abilities and skill trees. As expected, the characters will have many different personalization options too so you can stand out amongst your friends.
Insane Weapon Variety: “With bazillions of guns and gadgets, every fight is an opportunity to score new gear. Firearms with self-propelling bullet shields? Check. Rifles that spawn fire-spewing volcanoes? Obviously. Guns that grow legs and chase down enemies while hurling verbal insults? Yeah, got that too. ” Borderlands 3 will have a crazy amount of weapon combinations which means you will almost always be finding brand new weapons as you play.
Multiple Worlds: This is something I am very excited about. Borderlands 3 will let players travel beyond the world of Pandora. Each world will have unique environments and enemies. This should really help keep the game feeling fresh throughout. “Tear through hostile deserts, battle your way across war-torn cityscapes, navigate deadly bayous, and more”
CO-OP:“Play with anyone at any time online or in split-screen co-op, regardless of your level or mission progress. Take down enemies and challenges as a team, but reap rewards that are yours alone – no one misses out on loot.”
