E3 2019: Ubisoft Reveals WATCH DOGS LEGION! – Trailers & Gameplay

Ubisoft have finally revealed the third game in their Watch Dogs franchise, and it is set in London, England!

Watch Dogs Legion, the 3rd entry in the Watch Dogs franchise, was revealed by Ubisoft at their E3 conference. The game is set in London, England and you will be able to play as anyone you want. You can assemble your own team of Deadsec members, ranging from an ex secret agent to a grandmother. These members all form a resistance group in the heart of London. Together they must attempt to reclaim London for the people. Check out the synopsis and official trailer for the game:

Build the resistance. Recruit anyone. Play as anyone. Londoners are being oppressed by corrupt opportunists and it’s up to you to build a resistance to give the city back to the people. With an entire population of potential recruits and the city’s technology at your fingertips, you’ll need to hack, infiltrate, and fight your way to a liberated London. It is very refreshing to see a open world game set in the United Kingdom. Both of the last two Watch Dogs games were set in the USA. Legion should feel fresh and different. The Watch Dogs games are a lot of fun. They let you play with multiple play styles and feature a huge range of techniques when tackling missions.

Game Features:

PLAY AS ANYONE: Each Londoner is a potential recruit. Any character you see in the world will have their own backstory and reasons for joining your resistance. The player can recruit them based on their unique skills and much more. Examples of these characters could include ex agents, boxers, a taxi driver as well as a teenage drone expert. This should add A LOT of replayability to the game as you can mix and match your team to be as effective as possible.
STORY: Deadsec is the only thing standing in the way of over controlling governments and criminals in the game world.Watch Dogs legion is full of mass surveillance, private armies controlling the streets and gangs. It is up to Deadsec to put a stop to this.
OPEN WORLD: ‘Explore a massive urban open world and visit London’s many famous landmarks – including Big Ben, Tower Bridge, Camden, Piccadilly Circus or Whitechapel.’
UNIQUE PLAY STYLES: As with some other Ubisoft open world games, you are encouraged to try out different play styles to find what suits you best. Your character can focus on stealth, assault or a combination of both.
PERMADEATH: Each recruit you play as can die. If they die, they will not be coming back and you will have to find another character in the open world to replace them. This should really add some importance to how you play, especially if you want to keep a certain character alive.
ONLINE CO-OP: ‘Giving London back to the people doesn’t have to be some heroic solo jaunt, ya know. Bring the fight online to join forces with up to three friends as you take on entirely new co-op missions and challenging end-game content.’
FULL CUSTOMISATION: You can customise your characters with all sorts of items such as clothes, masks and much more.
