Rockstar Games have been teasing the opening of a new casino and resort in the world of GTA Online!
On their newswire, Rockstar Games have referenced the ‘coming soon’ signs players have been spotting in Los Santos. It has been confirmed that a brand new casino and resort will be opening soon. The casino is something a lot of fans have been asking for since the launch of GTA 5 back in the previous generation of consoles and with the PS4 / Xbox One version. There had been many rumours over the years about it opening soon but nothing was announced officially, until now (2019!). Red Dead Online currently lets players play poker games and blackjack. This is something that is a lot of fun and really adds alot more interactivity to the games online mode. GTA Online would really benefit from these casino games.
It is great to see Rockstar still supporting GTA 5 and updating it with fresh content. Here is what they had to say about the casino and resort:
While sitting in bottlenecked traffic on the LS Freeway, you may have noticed a new construction project taking shape at a small building nestled between Vinewood Hills and the scenic backdrop of the Tataviam Mountains. Don’t let the recent removal of that faded “OPENING SOON” sign dissuade you, The Diamond Casino & Resort – a brand-new luxury destination and the largest mass entertainment complex of its kind in Southern San Andreas – will open its doors later this summer.
Rockstar also announced a range of features found in this new Casino. These include:
- Exclusive Shopping – This could be hinting at exclusive casino themed outfits and much more.
- 1st Class Entertainment – This may be the return of live in-game performances such as those found in GTA 4 and Red Dead Redemption 2 (comedy club, cabaret etc)
- State of the Art gaming facilities including Lucky Wheels as well as traditional casino table games. This may be hinting at full poker games in GTA Online, such as those found in RDR Online.
