Depixtion, the colorful layered logic puzzle game based on the Picross formula, is coming to the Nintendo Switch™ on February 28th, developer DevHour Games announced earlier today.
Trailer:
Depixtion, a relaxing puzzle game where you create beautiful works of art using logic. Based on the popular Picross series, Depixtion blends color mixing mechanics with the rules of nonograms to create a uniquely colorful experience.
Depixtion innovates on the popular Picross formula by integrating a never before seen color mixing mechanic, generating the largest color palette in a nonogram game to date.
Instead of a single monochrome puzzle, players complete 3 separate colored picross puzzles, that when finished, blend together, mixing the colors to create the final image.
Because of this, the player has a higher degree of artistic input on the final image, alongside a higher verticality of challenge from the puzzle itself.
Features:
- 96 Depixtion Images – 288 Picross Puzzles
- Sizes range from 4×4, 8×8, 12×12, 16×16, 20×20, and 24×24
- Largest color palette in a Picross game to date (27 different colors!)
- Hand-crafted puzzles, truly solvable with logic
- Beginners & Advanced Tutorial. Easy to learn, hard to master!
- Autosaving. Don’t worry about any losing any progress
