Sony recently revealed what their upcoming PlayStation 5 games console will actually look like!

At a recent virtual event, Sony finally showcased the much anticipated PS5. We already knew what the controller would look like from past announcements, but this time Sony went all out and showcased the main unit itself. It looks beautiful!!

We also got to see a whole range of new games coming to the PS5. These included sequels as well as fresh / new experiences. In case you missed the live event, there are replays available all over Youtube. I will link one later in this post. For now, check out this hardware reveal trailer:

At launch, we will offer two options: a PlayStation®5 console with an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive and a PlayStation®5 Digital Edition without a disc drive. The PS5 gameplay experience will be the same, so the choice is all yours. While there are some slight differences in the look of each model, for the overall design, we wanted to deliver a console that’s bold, stunning, and unlike any previous generation of PlayStation.

There are going to be at least 2 models available (one with a disc tray and one without). Sony also showcased some awesome optional accesories to go with the consoles, such as an HD camera and a headset.
