Zac Efron has signed on to star in Firestarter, the upcoming film from Universal Pictures, Blumhouse Productions and Weed Road Productions, adapted Stephen King’s classic sci-fi thriller novel!
Efron is represented by CAA, Alchemy Entertainment, Viewpoint and Felker, Toczek, Suddleson, Abramson.
Keith Thomas has signed on to direct with Scott Teems will write and also Executive Produce with Jason Blum and Academy Award winner Akiva Goldsman will produce and Martha De Laurentiis who was an associate producer on the 1984 adaptation of the original Firestarter starring a young Drew Barrymore, will also be an Executive Producer.
