20th Century Fox has released A NEW OFFICIAL TRAILER for its upcoming horror film, The New Mutants. Sets within the Marvel’s X-Men universe, The New Mutants is set in a darker world within the X-Men universe, there is no costumes or supervillains to fight against. The story follows five young mutants who are just learning and understanding their unusual powers while being institutionalized in a secret facility. “This is not a hospital. It’s a haunted house,” a quote from the trailer sets the tone for the movie. The New Mutants is written and directed by Josh Boone( The Fault in Our Stars). The film stars Maisie Williams(Game of Thrones) as Wolfsbane, Anya Taylor-Joy( The Witch, Morgan) as Magik, Charlie Heaton(Stranger Things) as Cannonball, Alice Braga( Elysium, Predators) as Dr. Cecilia Reyes, Henry Zaga( 13 Reasons Why, Teen Wolf) as Sunspot, Blu Hunt( The Originals) as Danielle Moonstar and Happy Anderson( Cold in July) as Reverend Craig.
