Bleeker Street has released an official trailer for its upcoming political thriller, Beirut. The period film tells a story of a former US diplomat, Mason Skiles(Jon Hamm)who fled Lebanon in 1972 after a tragic incident at home. 10 years later he was call back by CIA operative(Rosamund Pike) to a war-torn Beirut for a mission. A mission that require him to save someone in a group that could possibly be responsible for the death of his family 10 years ago. Meanwhile a CIA field agent is task with keeping Mason alive during this operation.
Beirut is written by Tony Gilroy( Jason Bourne film franchise, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) and directed by Brad Anderson( The Machinist, Fringe). The film stars Jon Hamm(Mad Men), Rosamund Pike( Gone Girl), Dean Norris(Breaking Bad, Claws), Shea Wigham(Kong:Skull Island, Boardwalk Empire), Mark Pellegrino(Lost, Supernatural), Larry Pine(The Grand Budapest Hotel), Alon Aboutboul(London Has Fallen), Kate Fleetwood( Les Miserables), Douglas Hodge(The Night Manager) and Jonny Coyne(The Night Crawler).
