A24 has released an official trailer for its upcoming horror film, Hereditary. Hereditary is the first feature-length film for writer and director Ari Aster known for his short films of The Strange Thing about the Johnson and Manchausen. Produced by Lars Knudsen(The Witch, The Manchurian Candidate) and Kevin Frakes( John Wick 1&2, Sing Street), the film is already creating a buzz at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. Hereditary stars Toni Collette(Little Miss Sunshine), Gabriel Byrne(The Usual Suspect), Alex Wolff (Patriots Day), Ann Dowd(The Handmaid’s Tale) and Milly Shapiro.

When Ellen, matriarch of the Graham family, passes away, her daughter’s family begins to unravel cryptic and increasingly terrifying secrets about their ancestry. The more they discover, the more they find themselves trying to outrun the sinister fate they seem to have inherited.
