20th Century Fox has released a new trailer for its upcoming post apocalyptic thriller, Maze Runner: The Death Cure. Adapted from the novel written by James Dashner, Maze Runner: The Death Cure is the final chapter of the trilogy. The Maze Runner first debuted in 2014 followed by Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials in 2015. The production of the final sequel was delayed due to Dylan O’Brien, the leading actor who sustained a non-life threatening serious injury during the shoot in 2016. Both screenwriter T.S. Nowlin and director Wes Ball returned to their respective roles. Maze Runner: The Death Cure stars Dylan O’Brien(American Assassin, Teenwolf), Thomas Brodie-Sangster(Game of Thrones-Jojen Reed), Kaya Scodelario(Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man Tell No Tales), Ki Hong Lee(Wish Upon), Will Poulter(The Revenant), Giancarlo Esposito(Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, The Jungle Book), Patricia Clarkson(Shutter Island), Aidan Gillan(Game of Thrones) and Barry Pepper(The Lone Ranger, Monster Truck).
Here is the official synopsis for Maze Runner: The Death Cure:
