Filmed in partnership with WhoHaha, a content creation platform co-founded by Elizabeth Banks to elevate the funniest up-and-coming female talent, the “infomercial” brings a satirical light to Ramadan, the annual Muslim month of fasting, where observers restrict themselves from eating and drinking from sunrise-to-sunset. Growing up in the United States where she “fasted while other kids ate Lunchables,” Reem delivers her quick-witted, satirical humor to shed light on the millennial Muslim experience through an educational, yet relatable lens.
