The app makes it easier than ever for women to sign up to become a Heartbeat “Ambassador” and provides a fast way for Ambassadors to learn about new campaigns offering free products, services and/or payments for branded posts. Heartbeat believes that you don’t need millions of followers or a fancy wardrobe to be treated like a top-shelf influencer.

Via the app, Heartbeat is connecting brands directly with the consumers that love them. App users can access the Heartbeat Dashboard to review current campaigns, view earnings to date, see new campaign opportunities, invite friends to join Heartbeat and learn ways that they can build their exposure, to be offered higher-profile and greater paying campaigns. In addition, Ambassadors can sign up for “push notifications” alerting them to new opportunities, directly on their phone. Heartbeat even created “Heartbeat University” to help Ambassadors learn the ins and outs of posting for brands on their personal social media channels.
Getting started on Heartbeat is simple:
– Sign up via the new app or on GetHeartbeat.co to become an Ambassador and unlock the opportunities. Ambassadors get paid and/or receive product samples or services to represent the best brands on social media and in the real world.
– Complete your Ambassador Profile and be paired with brands that match you best. The more you engage with Heartbeat, the better your matches.
– Become part of a brand’s community and be invited and incentivized to post online, get paid, enter contests, engage in live events and collaborate with others.

Ambassadors on Heartbeat typically have between 300 and 5,000 followers, but the most important thing is engagement. If an Ambassador has real followers and is getting a high number of likes and comments, they are more likely to be offered paying campaigns or campaigns with product gifting. The Heartbeat payrate will be listed on the Ambassador’s profile once they sign up, and the payrate can increase based on factors related to the quality of the users’ account.
The Heartbeat “Authenticity Engine” uses machine learning to look at 60 different factors of an Ambassador’s Instagram account to determine their rate, favoring friends and family followers over the audience typically generated by an influencer. Ambassadors will be paid either a flat rate for each campaign they apply to and are accepted for or will receive a free product or service in exchange for their post. Some campaigns are non-paid, and Ambassadors of course have the option to simply ignore a campaign if they would prefer not to participate. This ensures Ambassadors who authentically like the products they’re looking to promote participate.
