Agents, Ingress 2.0, know as Prime, was announced late 2017 expected to hit somewhere in 2018. Ever since it’s announcement, a few images and videos have leaked or been revealed showing it’s complete overhaul in the UI and game schematics. However, there’s not have been any announcement or rumors on the release date so far, neither if there will be a full reset!
According to reveals details of ‘The Osiris Sequence’ — a bridge into a new universe made possible by Ingress Prime, and how our own universe may have discovered the mysteries of XM in the first place, suggests that Prime is coming during Summer 2018.

It’s known that agents in the ‘Osiris Universe’ will be able to relive and change important Anomalies of the past and their outcomes, and define the ultimate future of that universe.
With that in mind, check below for how the Osiris Sequence will be divided. Each calendar year quarter will be its own Anomaly series.
According to the Osiris Sequence, Cassandra Prime is scheduled to begin in 26-July-2018. This anomaly is on a different universe and only made possible to attend with Ingress Prime!!! So, we can expect the new scanner to launch prior the anomaly, somewhere during Summer 2018.
