Electronic Arts and DICE recently announced that Clone Wars content will be coming to Battlefront 2!
EA have been doing a great job at adding new, free content to Battlefront 2 since it launched. I recently started playing the game and have really been enjoying it. It is definitely worth trying out if you are a Star Wars fan! At the moment it is Han Solo season in the game. This has resulted in new maps / modes and characters as well as new ships to pilot. This Han Solo season is inspired by the new Solo movie that came out. If you missed it before, here is the trailer for this Solo season:
According to EA, many fans have been asking for Clone Wars (from the Star Wars Prequel movie era) content in the game. Therefore, at the recent Electronic Arts E3 2018 showcase, they announced that this new content will be coming to the game at some point in the future! I am looking forward to this as there is a lot of potential for some great gameplay additions here.
New Location:
Geonosis will be added to the game as a new location for players to explore.
New Playable Characters:
EA has also announced that the following characters will be playable in the various game modes. Personally, I can’t wait to play as General Grievous (pictured at the top of this page)!
- Obi-Wan Kenobi
- General Grievous
- Count Dooku
- Anakin Skywalker
