Archie Comics and Spotify have teamed up to adapt the acclaimed and praised comic books in a series of videos on the music platform. The six-episode series, now available on Spotify, is the newest action in Archie’s ongoing effort to expand to new audiences and ways to tell stories with its wide variety of world-famous characters.
The series that premiered in 2015 and ushered in a new era for Archie and his friends, reintroducing the beloved cast with a modern twist, will be adapted to motion comics, available only in Spotify. The series, titled “Spotlight Archie – The New Riverdale“, will be created by Madefire, a technology content company specializing in digital and motion comics.
