The lore of DESTINY is coming this fall to your bookshelf with a collection of books called Grimoire Anthology.
Grimoire cards, unlocked through in-game actions, tell details about the mythology of the Destiny universe and are only available for viewing through the official game application or on the Bungie website. Not anymore!
The first volume of the collection, Grimoire Anthology Vol. 1: Dark Mirror, will feature 128 pages and a special hardcover at the suggested retail price of $24.99, plus the exclusive “Codex Doctrina” emblem for the Destiny 2 game on the pre-orders.
According to the book’s official description, the compendium of letter inscriptions will gather for the first time “tales from various sources, shedding new light on Destiny’s most legendary heroes, infamous villains and their greatest moments of triumph and tragedy “.
Bungie said that each volume of the anthology aims to “illuminate a facet of the world,” and offer “new and different perspectives on the cosmic war between the Traveler and his former enemies.”
Volume 1, Grimoire Anthology Vol. 1: Dark Mirror, will be released this spring, with versions in other languages to follow.
