Epic Games recently announced the release of an Android Beta for Fortnite!

The Fortnite Beta will be available first to those with Samsung Galaxy devices. However, it will also be available for other devices in the future!

Here is the synopsis and trailer:

We’re excited to announce the Fortnite Beta on Android is launching this week. Players with Samsung Galaxy devices are the first to be invited starting today. The Android Beta will begin opening up for other devices over the next few days. More info: https://www.fortnite.com/news/android

The Fortnite Beta is currently supported on the following Samsung Devices:

  • Samsung Galaxy: S7 / S7 Edge , S8 / S8+, S9 / S9+, Note 8, Note 9, Tab S3, Tab S4

Also, purchasers of the new Samsung Note 9 or Galaxy Tab S4 will get access to the new Galaxy outfit (this outfit looks awesome!):

Fortnite Android / Epic Games

For those players who do not own a Samsung device, Epic Games have stated that you can sign up and join the invite list. Here is what they said:

We’ll start rolling out access to players as we work on supporting a wider variety of devices in the next few days. Players will be granted access in waves to Fortnite Battle Royale, and will be sent instructions on how to download and play! Sign up at Fortnite.com/Android.
