Mr. Rogers was a part of my life, just as much as he was everyone else’s, when we were growing up. I still remember him going to the closet to change his sweater and even change shoes. Tom Hanks just fits this role so perfectly that it’s uncanny. This movie tells the story of the friendship between Rogers and a journalist named Tom Junod, who becomes awed while writing a feature story.
