Fallout 76: Wastelanders Update – NEW Trailer, Gameplay & More

Bethesda recently revealed more information about their upcoming Fallout 76 Wastelanders Update!!

Fallout 76 – which is Bethesda’s multiplayer / online Fallout game – can be a lot of fun but was always missing that special something that made past Fallout games unique. In my opinion, the NPC (non-playable characters) in past games are what really helped the world feel alive and fun to explore. It was awesome coming across various factions or settlements and taking part in unique questlines. The addition of NPC’s in Fallout 76 is something a lot of fans have been asking for. This is coming now, through the wastelanders update. The update will also bring a new questline, items and much much more!!

This is a brilliant move by Bethesda, who seem to be really listening to fans. Check out the latest synopsis and trailer below:

People have returned to West Virginia in Fallout 76: Wastelanders. Two opposing factions are fighting for the upper hand as the secrets of West Virginia are revealed, and you will be the one to tip the scales. The Settlers have come to find a new home, and the Raiders have come to exploit them. Your choices will have lasting effects on the world and the lives of these newcomers. Embark on a new questline, forge alliances with the competing factions, and uncover the truth of what’s hidden in the mountains. Play Wastelanders, a free expansion for Fallout 76, when it releases for Steam, Bethesda.net, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on April 14, 2020.

Features:

New Main Quest – Uncover the secrets of West Virginia by playing through an all-new main quest, starting from the moment you leave Vault 76
Human NPCs – Befriend or betray new neighbors who have come to rebuild, and experience Appalachia through the eyes of its residents.

As a small token of our appreciation, we are gifting all you Vault 76 veterans a unique outfit. The Veteran outfit will be available to anyone who has logged into Fallout 76 since launch on November 14, 2018 and prior to Wastelanders’ release.

Since there are new factions and NPC’s entering the world, Bethesda has also redesigned parts of the map in Fallout 76. This should really help the game feel fresh and provide more of that authentic Fallout experience (which can be shared with friends online).
