CREED: RISE TO GLORY – CHAMPIONSHIP EDITION, Inspired by MGM’s Upcoming CREED III Film, Arrives on PlayStation VR2 TODAY, with Pre-Orders Available Now for Standard and Deluxe Editions
Survios, the industry-leading virtual reality studio, and MGM Interactive Inc., a subsidiary of Metro Goldwyn Mayer Studios Inc. (MGM), announced today the launch of CREED: RISE TO GLORY – CHAMPIONSHIP EDITION for the PS VR2 and Meta Quest 2 platforms. Inspired by CREED III, the third installment of the successful franchise directed, produced and starring Michael B. Jordan, the remastered game includes new characters and a new location from the film.

The standard and deluxe editions are now available on the PlayStation Store and are priced at $39.99 for the Standard Edition and $49.99 for the digital Deluxe Edition, which boasts an additional 22 “Glow” costumes. Previous digital owners of the original PS VR game can upgrade to the enhanced and expanded PS VR2 version for $19.99 (Standard Edition) or $29.99 (Deluxe Edition). Meta Quest 2 owners will receive CHAMPIONSHIP EDITION as a free content upgrade.
An evolution of the highly successful CREED: RISE TO GLORY VR game, CREED: RISE TO GLORY – CHAMPIONSHIP EDITION brings players back to the ring, this time with a fresh set of gloves. Go toe-to-toe with familiar and unexpected contenders to establish your boxing legacy in a heart-pounding and cinematic experience. You play as Adonis Creed, son of heavyweight champion Apollo Creed, as you train hard in the gym under the tutelage of the legendary Rocky Balboa. As you make your way up the ranks, go “one round at a time” against iconic franchise characters across different arenas to prove that you have what it takes to become a champion.
CHAMPIONSHIP EDITION delivers breathtaking technical, performance, and quality-of-life upgrades over the original, utilizing the power of PlayStation 5 (PS5) and PlayStation VR2 to deliver the excitement and challenge of a high-stakes match in the ring.
Players will experience brand-new game content including the new Legacy story arc inspired by the CREED III film (eight new chapters), three new arenas, and an impressive roster of eight additional fighters. Previously exclusive for the Meta Quest 2, Endurance Mode will also be making its debut on the PS VR2, which allows players to brawl by removing the virtual stamina systems and scaling opponent difficulty to truly pull no punches. Additionally, both games will receive a new Fitness Mode to track calories and match sessions to meet personal health and fitness goals.
