The Angry Video Game Nerd AVAILABLE NOW!

The Nerd takes it back to the past with the NES edition of The Angry Video Game Nerd 8-Bit. Developed by Pittsburgh-based Mega Cat Studios, The Angry Video Game Nerd 8-Bit is available as an actual NES cartridge in two colors: Standard Edition NES Gray ($69.99) and Limited Edition NERD RAGE Red ($79.99), perfect for lining the walls of your own personal Nerd Room. Each cartridge includes an instruction manual featuring art by AVGN’s Mike Matei.

An all-new action platformer set in the AVGN universe, The Angry Video Game Nerd 8-Bit unleashes the ULTIMATE NERD RAGE across a host of pixel art levels crawling with zombies, mechanical skeletons, ghoulish reapers, and more. Slide below platforms, grab power-ups, and take alternate routes to the boss room, where familiar faces from The Nerd’s past are waiting to finish him off once and for all.
