Este Domingo es el GRAN FINAL de MasterChef Latino! After an exciting season full of many challenges, tears and surprises, one of these three finalists will achieve their dream of becoming the first “MasterChef Latino” in the United States and win the grand prize of $100,000 cash.
- Lupita came to MasterChef Latino to show her dedication and love in every plate. At a first glance, Lupita is a typical housewife, fully committed to her husband and daughter, but do not underestimate her because this 35-year old Mexican woman is truly passionate about cooking and believes “good food cannot be rushed.” Lupita was born in Mexico to a traditional Mexican family where she learned to cook from her great-great grandmother and her great grandmother who together, left her their greatest recipes in a handwritten notebook. After the competition Lupita wants to open a restaurant where she can express her creativity without limits. She loves to cook soy pasta with fish filet, chicken quinoa bowls and shrimp pasta with octopus. Will these dishes lead her to win MasterChef Latino?
- Sindy Lazo picked her battles upon entering the competition by taking time away from her acting career to pursue her greatest dream: becoming a chef. For this reason, she takes pride in making it to the grand finale where she can show off her beloved country’s cuisine? Beside from the fact that she comes from a family of artists, at six years old she knew her greatest passion was in the kitchen. Sindy has proven to be a deep and caring person when she made it clear that her goal is to tell her story to Latina women who have lived through a traumatic experience and show them they can get ahead.
- Andrés De Oliviera has it all; he’s a theater actor, animal lover and is now a finalist in MasterChef Latino! At 17 years old, he emigrated from Venezuela to the US. Surprisingly, his love and dedication for cooking began only five years ago due to the gastronomic scene he experienced in Los Angeles. Throughout the competition, we have seen how much of a perfectionist he is. Andres picks a style, studies it and practices until the recipe reaches perfection. His specialty dishes are homemade pastas, olive oil is his favorite ingredient and his dream is to one day have his own cooking show. Will the finale of MasterChef Latino be his first television hit?
