Bring home the music and heart of POWER BALLAD, coming to Blu-ray™ (+ DVD + Digital) August 25 from Lionsgate. POWER BALLAD stars Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Nick Jonas (Camp Rock), Peter McDonald (The Stag), Marcella Plunkett (Once), Havana Rose Liu (Bottoms), and Jack Reynor (Midsommar).
When Rick (Paul Rudd), a past-his-prime wedding singer, meets fading boy-band star Danny (Nick Jonas) during a gig, the two bond over music and a late-night jam session. But when Danny turns one of Rick’s songs into the hit that reignites his career, Rick sets out to reclaim the recognition he believes he deserves — even if it means risking everything he cares about. From writer-director John Carney (Sing Street, Once), POWER BALLAD is a feel-good story about music, self-respect, friendship, and the price of ambition.
On June 23, POWER BALLAD will be available to rent via Premium Video on Demand (for a 48-hour period) and to purchase via Premium Electronic Sell-Through on participating digital platforms where movies are available for purchase, including Movies Anywhere™, Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Fandango at Home, Google TV, YouTube, and more.
